Chabi Barre, a former standout at Scotland Campus High School now playing for the Akron Zips, is set to compete in the NCAA Tournament.

Akron will start the tournament as the No. 12 seed, facing off against the No. 5 seed Texas Tech Red Raiders.

The opening game is scheduled for Friday, March 20, at 12:40 p.m. and will be held at Benchmark International Arena.
