Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano, who represents Adams and Franklin counties and chairs the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, recently shared updates on his social media account regarding his newsletter, senior property taxes, and a family memory.
On April 15, 2026, Mastriano promoted his weekly newsletter with the message: “Don’t miss out! Discover valuable insights in my weekly newsletter, delivered every Friday. Sign up now for exclusive content!”
Later that day, he addressed concerns about property taxes for seniors in Pennsylvania. In a post dated April 15, 2026, he stated: “For decades, our seniors have worked hard, paid their taxes, and built their homes—brick by brick, year by year. I believe that once you reach 75 years of age, have lived in your home for 10 years or more, or have paid off your home, you should not be forced to keep paying”
On April 16, 2026, Mastriano posted a personal family photo from Argonne, France: “THROWBACK THURSDAY: Family photo taken in Argonne, France (where Rebbie’s grandfather fought in WWI) at the memory stone of Sgt York. #ThrowbackThursday”
Senator Mastriano has advanced community service through veteran support efforts and legislative measures as detailed on his official website. He has also led initiatives as chairman of key Senate committees focused on veterans affairs and local government. His district covers Adams and Franklin counties in Pennsylvania.
