Pennsylvania Auditor General Tim DeFoor is scheduled to join Rep. Chad Reichard (R-Franklin) at the upcoming “Hanging with Chad” event in Waynesboro. The gathering will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Aug. 15, at the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce, located at 118 Walnut St., #111.
Rep. Reichard highlighted the significance of DeFoor’s participation: “Since taking office in 2021, Tim has been a great asset in state government, working to hold receivers of taxpayer dollars accountable,” Reichard said. “It will be great to have him in the district to meet with residents and explain more about the important work he and his office do.”
The event will allow residents to meet with Rep. Reichard before DeFoor’s presentation begins at 10 a.m. Attendees can discuss state-related issues and share suggestions on how state government can improve its service.
Auditor General DeFoor expressed his anticipation for engaging with local residents: “I’m excited to share with everyone the important work we do on behalf of taxpayers, and our vision for the future,” DeFoor said. “I appreciate all the time and effort that Rep. Reichard and his team have put into making this event happen. It is going to be a great morning, and I encourage everyone to attend.”
DeFoor’s visit is part of his ongoing “Be Audit $mart” tour across Pennsylvania, where he outlines his office’s functions and fields questions from participants during an open session.
The monthly Hanging with Chad events are regularly held on the third Friday of each month at the same location in Waynesboro. Residents who cannot attend may contact Rep. Reichard’s office by phone at 717-749-7384 to arrange an appointment.
