Rep. Scott Perry, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, recently shared his views on several pressing issues via social media. Perry has been serving in Congress since 2013 after replacing Todd Platts and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.

On March 25, 2025, Perry highlighted concerns regarding FEMA’s response to Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. He quoted Ms. Jamie Laughter, Transylvania County Manager, who questioned the federal government’s ability to manage localized disasters effectively. “Ms. Jamie Laughter, Transylvania County Manager in North Carolina, told me how FEMA failed to do its job following Hurricane Helene’s devastation.”

Later that day, Perry called for transparency concerning what he referred to as the “Russia hoax.” He expressed that it was overdue for the American public to gain a full understanding of this matter. “It is long past time for the American People to have a full understanding of the Russia hoax.”

In another post on March 25, Perry announced his legislative efforts aimed at defunding NPR and PBS. He mentioned that his bill was prepared and emphasized that such actions were long overdue. “As a matter of fact, Mr. President, my bill that defunds NPR and PBS is ready to go.”
