Rep. Scott Perry, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district since 2013, shared several tweets on March 25, 2025, addressing topics ranging from military honors to Medicaid and education policy.

In his first tweet of the day, Perry acknowledged the significance of March 25th by honoring those who have received the Medal of Honor. He emphasized the valor of these individuals for their “conspicuous acts of gallantry at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in action against an enemy of the United States” “Every March 25th, we honor the valiant Warriors who earned the Medal of Honor for ‘conspicuous acts…'”.

Later that morning, Perry addressed issues related to Medicaid. Citing a survey he conducted, he stated that over 95% want to protect Medicaid by cutting waste, fraud, and abuse. He highlighted that Pennsylvania led in Medicaid fraud charges filed in 2024 according to HHS’s Office of Inspector General and noted that improper Medicaid payments could amount to $1.3 trillion “Over 95% want to protect Medicaid by cutting waste, fraud, and abuse…”.

In his final tweet on March 25th, Perry shared his vision for eliminating the Department of Education through a piece by Secretary Linda McMahon. The focus was on empowering parents with more control over their children’s educational choices “My vision for eliminating the Department of Education | By Secretary Linda McMahon…”.
