Rep. Scott Perry, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district since 2013, has shared his views on various national issues through a series of tweets. Perry, who succeeded Todd Platts in Congress and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, expressed his stance on judicial matters, budget resolutions, and paid tribute to a former colleague.

On March 23, 2025, Rep. Scott Perry tweeted about his support for halting unfounded nationwide injunctions by stating that “The Judicial Branch is not the HR department of the federal government, nor does it set National or foreign policy. It solely interprets the law, and certainly should never engage in judicial insurrection.”

The following day, March 24, 2025, he urged Senate colleagues to consider the House budget resolution upon their return to Washington D.C., emphasizing fiscal responsibility: “In the coming weeks, Congress must pass one simple budget that cuts spending and doesn’t raise taxes.” He highlighted the need to maintain momentum while eliminating wasteful practices.

Also on March 24th, Rep. Perry mourned the loss of Mia Love via Twitter: “I mourn the passing of @MiaBLove… Mia’s contributions to our Nation and her trailblazing role in Congress are significant.” He acknowledged her influence and inspiration drawn from her life dedicated to public service.
