Rep. Scott Perry, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, shared a series of tweets on March 3, 2025, addressing various topics including personal reflections and political commentary.

In a tweet posted at 18:30 UTC, Rep. Perry expressed his sorrow over the health condition of his friend and former House colleague, Rep. Mia Love. He stated, “My friend and former House colleague, Rep. Mia Love, is facing a heartbreaking battle with brain cancer.” He further added that she is no longer responding to treatment and has chosen to spend her remaining time with family.

Later that day at 18:43 UTC, Rep. Perry commented on First Amendment rights in another tweet. He mentioned his support for these rights but criticized their misuse by stating, “I’m all for First Amendment rights and have always defended them.” He argued that such abuse hampers legislative processes and obstructs communication channels.

In another tweet posted at 20:16 UTC, Rep. Perry addressed international relations concerning Ukraine’s President Zelensky and former President Trump. He remarked on the missed opportunity for peace negotiations by saying, “I fear President Zelensky’s failure to negotiate in good faith and unlock a peace deal with President Trump further weakened his negotiating position to end the senseless killing of Ukrainians.”
