Rep. Scott Perry, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets on March 5, 2025. Perry has been a member of Congress since 2013 and previously served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Scott Perry addressed polling data regarding gender participation in sports. He stated that “79% of Americans believe that men ‘should not’ compete in women’s sports, NYT/Ipsos polling shows.” Perry expressed his support for protecting women’s sports and criticized those he believes are undermining equality and the aspirations of female athletes.

In another tweet from the same day, Perry commented on claims about rising egg prices. He noted that “FACT CHECK: Democrats claim President Trump is allegedly responsible for the spike in egg prices.” He declared this claim false according to CNN reports, asserting that neither Republicans nor former President Trump are to blame for increased egg costs under President Biden’s administration.

Additionally, Rep. Perry highlighted efforts to reduce inefficiencies within the government. In his tweet posted on March 5, he mentioned ongoing work at an “unprecedented pace” to address waste and fraud while quoting former President Trump: “We’ve ended the tyranny of so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion policies all across the entire federal government.”
