Rep. Scott Perry, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, shared his thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets on March 14, 2025. Perry has been vocal about government efficiency and national security concerns.

In one tweet, Perry referenced past efforts by President Obama and Vice President Biden to address waste and inefficiency within the federal government. He reiterated his proposal to sell unused federal buildings as a cost-saving measure for taxpayers. “Remember when President Obama charged VP Biden with cutting waste, fraud, and abuse?” he asked.

Perry also expressed concern over national security in another tweet by highlighting the presence of Chinese nationals in American academic institutions. He questioned the logic behind allowing this while pointing out the potential threat posed by such actions from China’s Communist Party (CCP). “Allowing 300,000 Chinese nationals to infiltrate American academic institutions while the CCP attempts to undermine our national security is a threat and makes ZERO sense.”

Lastly, Perry addressed improper Medicaid payments and quoted Nancy Pelosi on the importance of ensuring effective use of taxpayer dollars in healthcare programs like Medicare and Medicaid. He called for bipartisan cooperation to improve these systems’ efficiency. “Nancy Pelosi agrees that Congress must DOGE-ify improper Medicaid payments:” he stated.
