Rep. Scott Perry, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania’s 10th District since 2013, has recently shared his views on various current issues through a series of tweets. Perry, who has been active in U.S. Congress since replacing Todd Platts in 2013, shared his concerns regarding media credibility, government budget cuts, and constituent engagement.

On April 1, 2025, Perry addressed his concerns about attempts to undermine credible news sources. He stated, “The radical Left tries to put credible news organizations like @BreitbartNews and the @FDRLST out of business by threatening their ad revenue. This is accomplished by funding ‘nonprofits’ that publish bogus studies casting credible, journalistic outlets as pushing false.”

The following day, on April 2, 2025, Perry criticized the Senate’s budget cuts, suggesting they were inadequate. He expressed his perspective by saying, “The Senate needs to buck up and do more than cut only $3B from the budget. It’s nothing. House proposed $1.5 TRILLION. I told @mattgaetz on @OANN, the American People sent Donald Trump back to the White House to quit bankrupting them and our Country. Senate plan doesn’t.

On April 3, 2025, Perry expressed appreciation toward his constituents who participated in a Tele-Town Hall. He revealed that “Great thanks to the 21,000 of you who joined our Tele-Town Hall last night. It was a huge success with a massive reach of to 110,000 constituents. I was honored to your many pressing questions — from protecting Medicaid to election integrity to getting our economy back on track.”
