On July 11, 2025, Senator Mastriano alerted residents to issues with emergency communications. In his post he stated, ” 911 Outage Alert – Pennsylvania Some areas across the Commonwealth are experiencing 911 service disruptions. Only call 911 for true emergencies. Do not call to check if it’s working. If you can’t get through: Call your local 911 office directly Find yours here: https://t.co/Veeqypjjny”. The senator advised individuals only to use the service for genuine emergencies and provided alternative contact information for those unable to reach 911.
Later that day, Senator Mastriano offered additional details regarding the situation. On July 11, he posted, “Today, the Commonwealth of PA experienced intermittent 911 telephone outages. As you know, the following Emergency Alert System message was sent out: 1. PENNSYLVANIA EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY – Pennsylvania is experiencing a statewide intermittent 911 outage. Individuals https://t.co/vhv494dBvE”. This update included reference to an official alert from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency regarding the ongoing outages.
On July 13, Senator Mastriano shared a religious verse with his followers by posting “Verse – Philippians 3:20 https://t.co/ucWThyB1l7”.
