The following day, he announced the introduction of new legislation aimed at environmental protection. In a post dated August 2, 2025, Mastriano stated: “We introduced SB 508—the Clean Air Preservation Act—to uphold our constitutional right to clean air defined in Article I, Section 27. This bill bans solar radiation modification, sunlight reflection methods, and other activities that release pollutants in our skies. https://t.co/zLDtBEjLfk”. The reference to Article I, Section 27 highlights Pennsylvania’s constitutional provision guaranteeing citizens the right to clean air and pure water.
On August 2, 2025, Mastriano also posted about a significant event in world history: “August 3, 1492 – Christopher Columbus set sail from Palos, Spain, with three ships, Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. Seeking a westerly route to the Far East, he instead landed on October 12th in the Bahamas, thinking it was an outlying Japanese island. https://t.co/b7PtSQU744”.
