Senator Doug Mastriano, a Pennsylvania State Senator representing Adams and Franklin counties and chairman of key state committees, addressed constituents through several social media posts between April 2 and April 3, 2026.
On April 2, Mastriano shared his weekly newsletter with followers. “Please enjoy reading my newsletter from this week.”
Later that day, he advocated for suspending the state’s gas tax to provide financial relief. On April 2 at 22:00 UTC, Mastriano posted: “Suspend the gas tax! Right now, the gas tax stands at 57.6¢ per gallon, and the diesel tax is 74.1¢ per gallon. With families and businesses already feeling the strain of rising costs, suspending the gas tax would provide meaningful relief at the pump. It’s time to put money”
On Good Friday, April 3, he marked the occasion with a message reflecting on its significance: ” GOOD FRIDAY Today we pause to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Good Friday is a solemn day of reflection, humility, and gratitude for the love and mercy shown through His suffering and sacrifice. It is a reminder of the depth of God’s love and the hope”
According to his official website (https://senatormastriano.com/), Mastriano has focused legislative efforts on supporting veterans and advancing community service initiatives in Pennsylvania. He has led as chairman of both the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee and the Senate Local Government Committee while operating within state governance as a representative for Adams and Franklin counties.
