On June 6, 2025, Senator Mastriano tweeted a reminder of American Soldier Month, stating “June is American Soldier Month – Today we remember!”. This message was shared with his followers to highlight the importance of remembering and honoring the contributions of soldiers.
In another tweet posted on the same day, Senator Mastriano shared a poignant moment from history: “His last photo – Colonel Robert Lee ‘Bull’ Wolverton, commander of the 3rd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, led his men in a powerful prayer on the eve of D-Day, June 5, 1944. This moment, shared by 750 paratroopers before their”. This tweet serves to commemorate Colonel Wolverton’s leadership and his men’s bravery on a critical day in history.
Later that day, Mastriano paid tribute to those who participated in the D-Day landings. He tweeted “Today, we remember the brave, young men who confronted a danger few can imagine.
