Nancy Grayson Elementary School recently issued the following announcement.
Hello Parents & Guardians,
During our time of quarantine you can reach me at Kelly.ackley@ship.k12.pa.us. I will have virtual office hours from 9am- to 9:30am and 10:30am-11am during the week. I will be checking my email at many times throughout the weekdays but those are times I guarantee I will be at my computer.
The quarantine has certainly disrupted our regular lives and we are all trying to navigate this new (temporary) normal the best we can. This experience is not one that anyone signed up for and no one is going to do it perfectly. Keep that in mind as we move forward. Be gentle on yourselves. If/when the schooling starts to feel frustrating, take a break. Academics are important but so is everyone’s mental health. Allow for some breaks in the day for fun activities or rest.
I know this time is also creating a lot of extra hardships. Here is a link to the Shippensburg Community Resource Coalition https://www.shipresources.org/resources-covid-19. They have information regarding free meals during the week and financial help they can offer.
