Fairfield Area Elementary School issued the following announcement on Apr. 8.
The Fairfield Area School District will be expanding the free lunch program, starting next week for any student of the school district. Next week’s lunch distribution will be on Tuesday, April 14th and Thursday, April 16th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The following week and for the rest of the duration that the district is closed the lunch program for all students will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. We will continue educating through online instruction or paper/pencil until Governor Wolf declares that the school district may reopen. We again appreciate your understanding and patience as we are learning as we go with this instructional process. If you do have questions, please contact your child’s teacher through their school email.
