ARP ESSER Grant Funding Information
What is the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Act?
The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Act of 2021 provided Pennsylvania school districts with $4.9 billion in emergency relief funding to support accelerated learning and much needed educational recovery funds because of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
The Fannett-Metal School District is eligible to receive $2,961,817 in ARP ESSER funds. This allocated amount was calculated through the same method the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) calculated and allocated the 2020 Title I-A funds to the district.
Additional information about the ARP ESSER funds can be found on the PDE website (Answers to ARP ESSER).
