Hampton township issued the following announcement on Jan. 8.
Due to the need to construct a new sewage treatment plant, 2022 will be the fourth of a four-year increase that sanitary sewer customers will see an increase in their sewer capital debt service bill fee of $7.50 per month.
The design and permitting process for this new $50 million sewage plant is currently underway with actual construction expected to begin sometime this year.
