Hampton township issued the following announcement on Mar. 23.
Waste Management will resume yard waste collection beginning in April. Yard waste is collected by WM the 3rd full week of each month, April through November, and will be collected the same day as your garbage / recycling collection.
Yard waste items include brush, garden residue (no dirt attached) in paper biodegradable bags, leaves in paper biodegradable bags, limbs, shrubbery, and tree trimmings cut in 4 feet length no greater than 40 pounds securely tied and bundled.
No grass clippings will be collected as part of yard waste. Grass clippings may be put with your garbage on your garbage day (place in a regular plastic garbage bag).
