State Rep. Torren Ecker | Pennsylvania 193rd Legislative District
House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail (R-Beaver/Washington) and Vice Chairman Torren Ecker (R-Adams/Cumberland) will host a hearing and press conference to discuss the negative impacts of the energy tax included in Governor Josh Shapiro’s and House Democrats’ budget plan for the 2023-24 Fiscal Year.
Kail, Ecker, members of the committee, Greg Moreland, Pennsylvania State Director of the National Federation of Independent Business, and David Taylor, President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association, will participate in the event.
The hearing is scheduled for today at 10 a.m., with a press conference following at 12:15 p.m. Both events will take place in the Ryan Office Building Atrium. Barring any technical difficulties, they will be streamed online.
