Rep. Dan Moul has extended his congratulations to Devin Peart, a constituent from Adams County, for securing an internship as a research intern with the House Urban Affairs Committee. This committee is chaired by Rep. Rosemary Brown.
“It is very exciting to welcome Devin, one of my constituents, to the House of Representatives in his new role with the Urban Affairs Committee,” said Moul. “It is especially rewarding to see ambitious young people from Adams County pursuing their career paths and finding success. The fellowship program offers students a first-hand look at the workings of state government. I wish Devin well in his internship and as he continues his education and career pursuits.”
Brown also expressed her enthusiasm about Peart joining the committee: “I am thrilled to welcome Devin to the House Urban Affairs Committee for this spring 2022 semester,” she said. “This program is one that I think Devin will thrive in as he gains invaluable experiences and meets great people along the way. He is going to learn a great deal over the next few months and this experience will be fantastic as he moves forward in his career.”
The Pennsylvania House Fellowship Program provides interns like Peart with an opportunity to explore the Pennsylvania House of Representatives throughout the spring semester. Peart, who graduated from Littlestown Area High School, is currently studying political science at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Alongside his academic pursuits, he participates in men's golf and contributes to the university's chapter of the Maryland Student Legislature.
Peart's parents are Darin and Beth Peart from Littlestown.
