Rep. Paul Schemel and the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Courts are set to conduct a hearing concerning House Resolution 99. This resolution allows for an investigation into the conduct of Schuylkill County Commissioner George F. Halcovage Jr., aiming to determine his liability for impeachment. The subcommittee will gather testimonies from involved parties during this session.
The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, September 15, at 9 a.m., and will take place in Room 205 of the Ryan Office Building within the Pennsylvania Capitol Complex. Testimonies will be received in executive session. According to the organizers, "Barring technical difficulties, the public portion of the hearing will be livestreamed at RepSchemel.com."
