Rep. Paul Schemel has announced the allocation of a $2 million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant for constructing a new municipal building in Washington Township, Franklin County. This facility will accommodate administrative offices, a tax collector, and a police station. It is strategically located to enhance access for residents.

"I advocated for the funding of this project, which will deliver a needed updated facility for our local government staff and police," stated Schemel. "This improvement project will have long-lasting effects throughout the community for many years to come."

The RACP is managed by the Office of the Budget and supports regional projects with economic or cultural significance. These projects are expected to impact employment levels and economic activity positively.
