Rep. Dan Moul has announced that the Littlestown Area School District will receive $1 million in grants aimed at improving school infrastructure. These funds come from the Public School Facility Improvement Grant program, managed by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority recently approved two separate grants, each totaling $500,000. Alloway Creek Elementary School will use its grant to replace its heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system as well as its roof. Littlestown Area High School will apply its funds toward upgrading its HVAC system to include air conditioning, replacing windows with more energy-efficient models that feature secure locking mechanisms and shatterproof glass.

“These grants will improve the learning environment in the classroom,” stated Rep. Moul. “By improving school infrastructure, we preserve the integrity of our school buildings while enabling students to better concentrate on their studies.”

The announcement was made by Representative Dan Moul of the 91st District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. For further information, media inquiries can be directed to Donna Pinkham at 717-260-6452.
