Rep. Scott Perry, currently serving as the U.S. Congressman for Pennsylvania’s 10th district, shared a series of messages on social media addressing religious observance, safety concerns, and military appreciation. Perry has served in Congress since 2013, after replacing Todd Platts, and has a history of political service starting from his tenure in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.

On April 13, 2025, Rep. Perry marked the commencement of the "Holiest Week of the year" with a statement commemorating Palm Sunday. "Today, Palm Sunday, commemorates Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem, and begins the Holiest Week of the year. It's a time of humility, sacrifice, and the hope and strength that faith provides even in the face of suffering and adversity." He extended wishes for a blessed and peaceful observance.

Rep. Perry later responded on the same day to news concerning the safety of a public figure. At 23:37 UTC, he expressed relief over the safety of the Governor and his family, referring to an unspecified incident as "inexcusable and terrifying." "Glad to learn that the Governor and his family are safe after this inexcusable and terrifying incident."

On April 14, 2025, Perry conveyed appreciation towards the U.S. Air Force Reserve, recognizing its longstanding commitment to national defense and emergency response since 1948. He addressed those who have served, stating, "Since 1948, the US Air Force Reserve has stood ready to answer the call—defending our Nation, and responding to emergencies at home and abroad." Rep. Perry thanked the service members for their dedication and contributions to national security.

Scott Perry, 60, who was born in San Diego and graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1991, now resides in Dillsburg.
