Perry, who has been an advocate for reducing taxes on tips and a supporter of President Trump's administration, highlighted public opinion trends and executive actions taken by the current government.

On March 4, 2025, Rep. Perry tweeted about the public support for the "No Tax on Tips" bill, which he co-sponsors. He cited polling data from OnMessage indicating that "65% back eliminating taxes on tips." Perry expressed his stance in an earlier interview with Breitbart News, emphasizing that individuals should retain as much of their earned income as possible.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Perry noted an increase in public sentiment regarding the direction of the nation following Republican control of major governmental branches. According to Civiqs polling data shared by Perry, "the share of Americans who believe our Nation is headed in the right direction INCREASED BY 14 POINTS." The tweet also included a statement from President Trump declaring that "America is back!"

Later that day, Rep. Perry tweeted about President Trump's executive actions since taking office. He claimed that "President Trump signed more than 100 Executive actions so far to address and/or undo situations created by the Biden Administration and Deep State." Perry quoted Trump asserting significant accomplishments within a short timeframe compared to previous administrations.
