Rep. Scott Perry, a U.S. Congressman representing Pennsylvania's 10th district since 2013, shared several statements on social media addressing key political issues and events. His recent tweets reflect his positions on government operations and policy matters.

On March 7, 2025, Rep. Perry expressed concerns about the possibility of a government shutdown, attributing it to "The Left" in an effort to protect inefficiencies within the government. He stated: "The Left is hoping for a government shutdown next week so it can PROTECT waste, fraud, and abuse. We need to stay open, maintain our America First momentum, and bring all of that waste to a screeching halt."

Later that day, he responded to coverage by WHTM (ABC), affirming Republican efforts regarding Medicaid payments: "Yes, thank you, WHTM (ABC) - Republicans are, indeed, PROTECTING Medicaid by trying to unwind improper payments amounting to $1.3T over 10 years."

In another post on the same date, Rep. Perry addressed constituents from Pennsylvania's 10th district about notable events occurring during the week. He highlighted four major points of interest including legislative initiatives and ongoing budget negotiations: "Dear PA-10, here are 4 events of note this week: House Oversight Hearing: D-Mayors and Sanctuary City Policies; President’s Joint Address to Congress; Government Funding and Budget Negotiations; Legislative Initiatives."
