Rep. Scott Perry, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 10th district, has recently shared a series of tweets addressing various legislative initiatives and societal concerns. Perry, who has been serving in Congress since 2013, has been vocal about conservative financial practices and law enforcement support.
On March 27, 2025, Rep. Scott Perry articulated opposition to taxpayer-funded media, including NPR and PBS. In his tweet, he proposed the "No Propaganda Act" aimed at defunding what he considers propagandist media. Perry stated, "We don't have Taxpayers pay for NRA TV for a reason; they shouldn’t be paying for NPR or PBS, either. Let’s pass my 'No Propaganda Act' to defund propagandist media now."
In another tweet on the same day, Perry proposed a financial efficiency measure involving unused federal buildings. He highlighted the potential savings for taxpayers, posting, "How do we save $2 BILLION of yours? Sell all unused federal buildings! We passed my bill 'Utilizing Space Efficiently and Improving Technologies Act' HR 6276 — for this reason. Read my op-ed in the @WashTimes."
Perry also acknowledged the efforts of law enforcement in combating gang activity, specifically MS-13. On March 27, 2025, he tweeted, "MS-13 is one of the greatest scourges on society. Thank you to our brave Law Enforcement Officers for continuing the cleanup."
