Rep. Scott Perry, representing Pennsylvania's 10th district in the U.S. Congress since 2013, shared his insights on various issues through a series of recent statements on social media. He addressed economic concerns, electoral integrity, and federal budget decisions.

On April 10, 2025, Rep. Scott Perry commented on the inflation report of March, indicating that "March's inflation report shows Americans' purchasing power continues to grow [...]". He listed factors such as a 2.4% decline in energy prices and a 6.3% reduction in gas prices as contributors. The core Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 2.8% over the past 12 months, marking the smallest annual increase since March 2021.

Later that day, Perry shared his position on voter fraud, following the recent passage of the SAVE Act in the House of Representatives. He stated on April 10, 2025, that "Requiring proof of citizenship to register for federal elections is a solution to voter fraud; which is why I co-sponsored the SAVE Act [...]". He pointed out that despite opposition from certain groups, the bill equips states with tools for maintaining election integrity.

Additionally, Perry discussed federal budget proceedings on the same day. He expressed his support for the Senate's instructions on proposed budget cuts, noting that "I voted today to pass the Senate's instructions on the House's proposed budget. [...]". He criticized the Senate's indication of only $4 billion in cuts but mentioned commitments by President Trump and Senate Majority Leader John Thune for larger reductions.

Scott Perry, born in San Diego, California in 1962, has been an active political figure since his time in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.
