76 percent of applicants to Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Mont Alto were admitted for fall 2018

At Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Mont Alto, 84 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Mont Alto enrolled 830 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 4.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

82 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 18 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (7 percent).

The school admitted 76 percent of the 554 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 49 percent enrolled.
