92 percent of applicants to Wilson College were admitted for fall 2018

At Wilson College, 66 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 79 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Chambersburg enrolled 1,499 students in fall 2018, including 1,044 in undergraduate and 455 in graduate programs, data shows. 4.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

61 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 39 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (58 percent) and Black or African American (4 percent).

The school admitted 92 percent of the 824 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 25 percent enrolled.
