State Senator Doug Mastriano | Pennsylvania
Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-33), alongside other state lawmakers, religious leaders, a member of the Israeli legislature, and additional participants, will convene on Monday, June 10 at 9 a.m. in the state Capitol Rotunda in Harrisburg to express support for Israel amid its ongoing conflict with Palestine.
Mastriano previously introduced a resolution condemning the October 7 Hamas attack against Israel, which was approved by the Senate last fall. He is also advocating for legislation aimed at defunding antisemitism in state-funded colleges and universities by withdrawing taxpayer support from institutions that authorize or facilitate events promoting antisemitism on campus. Additionally, he has authored legislation mandating age-appropriate Holocaust education in all Pennsylvania schools.
