On December 12, Rep. Scott Perry criticized the Biden Administration for prioritizing climate change over domestic needs during a crisis. He stated that "Diverting attention and resources from the needs of the American People — during a crisis, no less — to focus on the globalists’ climate change agenda is the perfect depiction of our government under the Biden Administration for the last four years."
The following day, December 13, Rep. Perry marked the birthday of the U.S. National Guard by recognizing its origins in 1636 when Massachusetts organized its colonial militia into three permanent regiments. He expressed gratitude to this military force by saying "Happy birthday to the U.S. National Guard! On this date in 1636, Massachusetts organized its colonial militia into three permanent regiments, and since then, December 13th is recognized by law as the official National Guard birthday." He further thanked them for their service with "Happy birthday to the U.S National Guard."
